I live with 6 other people and 1 of which, while she has lived with me for less time than the rest, I really like, maybe even love. The problem is that she is all over in how she reacts to me. One week we spend a lot of time together and talk about everything and the next week, she will basically ignore me. I've done so much for the girl, I make her dinner all the time, she borrows anything of mine that she wants and knows that I will do just about anything for her. Yet still she is all over the place with her reactions. 1 minute she's hugging me and thanking me and the next week we go to the bar and she is messing around with one of my other housemates who she knows has a girlfriend and is basically ignoring me.
This is really causing me some serious problems, I spend hours a day trying to decide what do, I'm losing sleep, and I'm all over the place emotionally. I should probably move on, but I just can't, I really think I love her, and I would do anything for her. What should I do?

She is using you. Playing with your emotions for her self esteem. That makes her feel more powerfull and you let her do it. She has you wrapped around her little finger. Stop being a fool in love and grow some balls. if she really liked you then she would show a more careing attitude towards you. When you meet the right person your feelings will be mutual and understanding and not one sided, on\off as she is showing you.

I don't want to try to sound like I'm putting the previous answers down, but she's just not that into you. Any further attention thrown needlessly in her direction would be a tragic waste of time. She likes the attention, so every now and then, she will show you how thankful she is that you are obsessing over her. [If she were to ignore you _all_ the time, you might stop making her dinner and giving her stuff.] but at the same time, if she were interested in you at all, you'd know it. She likes you, but she's obviously just not attracted to you.
Tell you what. Stop being so nice and see what happens, if I'm wrong, don't give me the best answer

You might want to tell her how you feel so that you dont have to worry so much and maybe she will like you back. You'll probably get over it from there.

She is probably trying to make u feel jealous..
Show her some ATTITUDE(let her know that u r a man) and then when she comes closer let her know ur feelings..

Have you told her how you feel??? Just come out and say it..speak up and it will either work out and not...but you can move on with your life...
