There is one mention I found in Psalms of the creatures made from fire that carry/surround (not sure) the throne of God. There's the incident where Jesus cast the evil spiriits out of the possessed man into the herd of swine so there's evidence of possession, a practice the jinn commonly do. No doubt they were around. The jinn have the same free will as humans. If he wants to be a believer, he can be and not just a muslim but there are Jew Jinns and Christian Jinn and just plain nonbelievers. Just as a human can be evil, so can the jinn. The people who seek help from them practice magic and sorcery, that's the reason they deal with them.

The Bible doesn't mention jinn ("genie" in English); the Koran does. In the Koran, Satan is considered the first jinn. In Christianity, Satan is a fallen angel.
In Islam, jinn are a species of people different from humans, with free will, and magical powers. Not all of them are bad, and I think some are supposed to have converted to Islam. Like humans, they can be both good and bad. But some people think even a bad jinn can be useful if you find a way to control it.

There is no mention of jinn (genies) in the Bible. No creature described with the properties of such are written within Biblical text.
With regard to goetia, the Bible forbids people to use mediums to speak with demons or the dead (largely due to the fact that demons are those who are in rebellion against God and they live to cause havoc - something from which God is trying to spare people)
The "henchmen of Satan" would likely be classified as demons or devils. They are creatures that rose up in rebellion against God with Satan who welled up with pride against God desiring to be more powerful than God. Their job is to kill and destroy (definitely in a spiritual sense, perhaps in a physical one as well) as their angelic natures were unalterably changed from good to evil.
Ghouls, or ghosts, are typically manifestations of demonic activity. Angels rarely manifest themselves and only do so at the command of God; where as demons do so as they please in order to deceive others.
Demons know they will ultimately end up in Hell and are trying to deceive as many as possible to follow them (the line of thinking being: "If I have to go, I'm going to make sure as many others torment with me.").
