I would feel closer if a guy told he was shy. I'm shy too and it would make me feel a lot more comfortable to be around him.

I`m not a girl, but I guess it depends on how do you say it. If you try to make an excuse based on that, or you complain about yourself telling someone you`re shy, I think they would dislike it.
But if you show your shyness as something you can deal with, I don`t see any problem.
But maybe it would be better to have girls answers

it really depends on the girl, but i kno a lot of my friends actually prefer shy guys, becuz they say their alot nicer. I dont really care either way. The worst thing a guy can be tho is wicked cocky so i'd choose a shy ovr that anyday...so dont sweat it, just try to be outgoing sometimes jus 2 giv ppl a chance to kno u

No, I was shy from the first to the seventh grade. It's just that they try to get curious of somethings about you. Women will wonder how well you kiss, and other things. All you have to do is not be mean with it, then that will make things alot worse.
