Because you don't want to cut him completely out of your life you may be the one leading him on. Not intentionaly! But sometimes our actions speak louder than words and we may not always be consious of our actions. Unfortunatly most times old loves don't make the best of friends and putting distance between the two of you may be the best. You don't have to be hateful or nasty, but be firm in what you want him to undertand about the relationship. Hope everything works out for the best!

Stick to your guns, Honey! Tell him that you've been looking for a date for him and will call when you find her. Tell him it just won't work out and that if he really cares for you, that he'd leave you alone. You don't mind him calling cause you care about him but not to come on to you any more because it hurts you. I kept everyguy that i ever broke up with as friends. They do come in handy at times. And i Always try to fix them up with other girls. They get the message quick.

tell him you can be friends if he wants. but i dont think u should get back of him again. or find another boyfriend and iam sure he will back off whrn he knows u already move on. dont make any move that make him think thant u stiill love him.
if he still try to bother you, dont be friend with him until he will will accept that the two of you wont work.
i think that thats would i do in your case. good luck!

If you feel strongly about ending it with him then you need to be strong. If he persists on pushing to be in your life it seems as if you will have no other choice but to cut him out completely. Breaks up are never easy esp. when one party is not ready to let go. Good luck to you and just remain strong!!

Tell him how you feel. Explain about the trust issues and that you don't think that it would work. Give it some time, he'll see your point.

After too much damage , he has to accept that this cannot be fixed.

I can see you no longer love him the way you used too.

Until he can see that and accept it, you cannot even be friends.

tell him what you just told us. that you think he's a great guy but you've broken up to many times and you don't think you two make a good couple.
