I have a 25 month old who I am trying to potty train. We were doing really well for about 3 months, she went to the potty all throught the day. We even got her big girl nickers like mummy to wear that she loved. Every time after she went to the potty she loved going and putting it in the big potty (toilet) by herself. She only had a nappie on when she went to bed or if we went to the shops.

But for some reason, in the last week she refuses to use her potty and pee's on the floor. She hasnt had any bad experince or anything while using it

I am 37 weeks pregant and find it hard to pick her up and race her to the toilet all the time and its hard for me to bend over to clean up her mess all the time.

Any ideas would be helpful thanks

some children do regress. She is still only young so i would not be to concerned. Try putting her back in nappies and see how she goes. It could be a power play with you too. When she has an accident, i would get her to help clean the mess. She may realise that it isn't very nice, so this may help. you could also try a reward chart, for eg, for every wee she gets a star sticker to stick on the chart. When she has 5 stars she gets a treat, like a small chocolate etc.
Also dont push her. She may see that you are frustrated and this can have an effect to.
failing all this if she is still having troubles i would take her to the Dr. to see if there is a medical reason like an uti. It could just be that her bladder signals are not strong enough just yet and she doesn't realise she needs to go until it is too late.

My son did the same thing. I was given some advice that helped out. Show them something that they really like/want ( stickers, coloring books, a piece of candy ect..) and let them know that if they will get it if they use the potty. If they through a fit calmly explain it too them again and sit them on the potty. It may take a few times but it should help. Eventually you can bribe them with a good girl/boy sticker, when they get ten stickers or how ever amount they get a surprise. Then you can take them somewhere fun or give them a candy bar or sit down and play a game with them. Toddlers love attention even the negative attention, so that's why you should try to be as calm as possible with them if they don't get the reaction they want they will stop doing the behavior.

Bribes only work temporarily. Just let her keep her "nappie" on all the time. It is temporary until you get on your feet again. Until then, just wait it out.
