I have asthma, too, but I love running. I find running outdoors is better for me, because indoors my asthma acts up quickly (muct be the dust...) So, my advice is pace yourself. Make goals for yourself and then try to meet them--you don't need to keep up with everyone. Try maybe running one lap, walking one lap, etc. The only thing is stick to your goals and be your own cheerleader in your head. Tell your teacher your fitness goals--if s/he sees that you are taking this seriously, they might help you out.
As for the asthma part, I would get permission to keep your inhaler in your pocket or have the teacher keep it close by for you. When I run, I carry it with me just in case I need a quick puff.
Believe me, the asthma gets better once you lose a little weight and keep your lungs healthy with cardio exercise. How do I know? I lost 50lbs by eating right and running, even with the asthma. So, I know you can do it! :)

Just go at your own pace. In my PE class, I have two friends in there, and we all don't mind running, but we just can't run a constant 4 laps, so we usually start by jogging, and then we walk, then jog again, and then at the end we run. I also find that stretching first helps, which is why I hate that we always do a warmup run in my class, and then stretch. And try not to breathe really deeply, I know it seems like you'll suffocate because you're taking in so many short breaths, but take maybe 3 short breaths, deeper breath, and then repeat. But I always feel worse if I'm constantly taking really deep breaths. I hope things work out for you! I know it's really hard. I smoke, and I'm overweight too.

Depends if that is for amusement or for curriculum. For amusement: NEVER RUN ON THE TRACk You can estimate the space making use of a pedometer or the truth that each and every block with an intersection is one part of a mile. Start gradual, when you consider that your frame demands to construct resistance. Small increments like: one million/two mile then the next day to come three/four mile. Give your self at such a lot three days for leisure (Sunday is a well leisure day) Buy first-class sneakers when you consider that low-cost ones will injure you. The pleasant are light-weight and do not intervene along with your usual jogging variety.

If you have asthma, I would suggest getting a doctors note excusing you from running and making it up by doing other exercises. Walking is better for losing weight than running- so don't run off the weight, walk it off for better results
