why do guys do the pullover when their bald and they comb their hair over the bald spot?

They are hoping to cover up the bald spot and that nobody notices.

I guess guys figure they'll be ridiculed either way; bald or combed or over, so why not try and cover it?
It's sad, but it's even more sad to see girls going bald. Men it's pretty common and I'd say we're used to it. But what of the poor girl, what's she to do?

Because they are trying to cover up the bald spot. Maybe their confidence is ruined by the bald spot.

Vanity. They think if they cover it up, we won't see the bald spot.
They're trying to hide it, and too many young guys are getting their hair all shaved off as a fashion statement. What a shame. I don't find "domeheads" attractive in young guys.

It's kind of sad but it's because they have no hair and think maybe if they cover the baldness it will be less noticeable.

They do this because it is "their style"
and they feel that it is probably, just as much their "right" to choose to do this as it is for the folks who decide to:
Be 300 lbs and wear mini skirts
Be a white dude doing his best to be black
Wearing enough makeup to choke a goat
Wear enough jewelry in their face to rebalance gravity
Wear their pants around their knees
Have more cartoons tatooed on their body than Saturday TV
Ect Ect Ect
