I am beginning to think the bumper sticker was right,

"Ignorance + Arrogance = Disaster"

But I don't know what the answer is, nor do I know what to do anything with the 5% of Muslims, who want the rest of the world to convert, die or become enslaved. The west has forgotten from where their ideas of freedom arose; the Judeo-Christian scriptures. There is a reason why most technology began in the west. I am saddened to see how Iranians lust after atomic weapons---60 year old technology. The Koran is shown to be false by its fruit.

I may be Christian, but I won't defend an incorrect argument. The idea that most technology developed in the west is very eurocentric. A lot of culture and technology developed out of the Islamic peace period. Now, Islam may be corrupt at its core (the idea of Jihad), but there was a time when Islam ignored that principle and lived in peace.

Also, stating that "The Koran is shown to be false by its fruit" could also be applied to Christianity and the Bible; however, this is an example of the ad hominem fallacy. Just because there are a lot of idiotic or violent followers of a religion doesn't make the religion false.

You can plainly see, though, that Islam's true worldview is violent and debased. That doesn't mean that many Muslims aren't nice people, but their religion is the product of a deranged man (singular man, unlike the many sources you have for Christianity, therefore greatly increasing the chance that Islam was created for personal profit) trying to manipulate the masses under the guise of a "good" set of values.

Satan comes disguised as an angel of light.

EDIT: since people don't seem to like this response, I should mention that I'm not trying to belittle anyone. I simply state things how they are.

I'll agree with you in a small way if you will quickly and thoroughly add yourself to your own equation. You don't know anything about religion but you can criticize. Good for you! Thumbs way up!

We are not doomed. We have the freedom to defend ourselves and to help others who desire freedom.
If we fail, it will be our own doing.
