Various eye docs have not gotten my eyes clear. Most recently they are saying I have dry eyes and allergic conjunctivitis. But I've never had a problem with seasonal allergies, and when I was taking antibiotic eye drops weeks ago my eyes were responding better...also, the onset of the problem happened when I had an upper respiratory infection, which tends to indicate viral or bacterial conjunctivitis, and most importantly I have thick green-yellow discharge, a heave collection in the morning. Docs say they do not see bacteria in my eye, but have not done a culture. I'm so confused!

They need to do a swab of your conjunctiva sac (bottom eyelid) because I have the same problem and am now on medication for it. I say this because, believe it or not you can get chlamydia in your eyes.... not just from sexual liquids, but from hand to hand contact.(i.e. shaking hands with someone who has it and then inadvertently touching your eyes or face). I know it sounds gross, but I had to have a swab done to rule that out... and when the results came back, they said it was not chlamydia, but don't exactly know what it is... hope this helps....if any more questions, email me at mxdcaramel621@yahoo.com

Any conjunctivitis could have pus. that's an eye fixed an infection. for this reason purely the antibiotic eye drops facilitates. i'd carry off on the aritficial tears and hypersensitivity eye drops until the infecton is thoroughly cleared, except directed to apply them via the wellbeing practitioner. you would be able to desire to envision with the wellbeing practitioner or pharmacist, given which you would be able to desire to look ahead to for this reason long between diverse style of drops, often 5 minutes between them. you would be able to desire to end the recurring via fact the wellbeing practitioner prescribed it. it fairly is one considerable subject with infections of any kind human beings take the medicine for some days until they sense greater efficient, or on your case until the attention seems greater efficient, however the subject is the an infection isn't thoroughly long previous. Then it "comes back" and is even harder to cope with the 2nd time around. confident that's a topic to take medicine 2 or three times an afternoon for 7, 10, or 14 days, besides the undeniable fact that many days the wellbeing practitioner has ordered it for. yet end it you will desire to to thoroughly do away with the an infection.

Demand a culture and sensitivity test. Demand it! If they refuse, say one simple word to your doctors ......... malpractice. That will get you action.

Better yet, find a new doctor. You may want to try a Naturopathic Physician or medical doctor that specializes in 'functional medicine' or 'environmental medicine'.

Best wishes and good luck.
