Hey. I researched this one myself... and I believe this is the purchase I will make OR I might print it out and take it up to Star Power or Best Buy and see if they will price match so I can have it in hand today. I'm not a super patient person. But at this price with the accessories I loaded up... I could wait a week to 10 days.
Check Links...

A GREAT lcd maker that is fairly inexpensive is "LG" (like the cell phone maker). You can usually find them at circuit city (which is normally pretty pricy--but good, low prices on the LG's). I think you will get the quality you want, with the price range you are in.
If that doesnt work, HP (hewlitt packard) has been a great brand for some of my friends and family also. Both are fairly inexpensive, will last a long time, and do everything you want to do.
I agree with the others-NO WAL MART tv's. they will break, and you cant take em back. If you read the packaging, manufacturers actually make special "made for wal mart" models. Do you think they put their best stuff into those tv's? No way! Dont throw your $$ away, Avoid phillips/vizio etc..
Good luck!

Whatever you do DON'T buy Magnavox or Phillips. They put Pioneer parts in them and Pioneer just isn't what it used to be. Zenith isn't what it used to be either. One little known fact is that if you smoke the sensor goes out on the LCD tv's. And most of them cost around $800 to fix. So be careful as it doesn't take much to damage them. Spider webs will cause an ill effect too. Right now Panasonic is a very very good inexpensive brand that is loaded and so is Hitachi. Both with very good warrenties. Happy hunting.

Yes stay away from Phillips,Magotbox. and practically all wall mart TVS.
1k isnt enough for a quality unit.
And no Vizio is just as bad as Phillips.
Let me edu on a little bit about tvs.
When you pay for a TV real cheap, or on sale. (walmart)
You are sacrifcing something, usually its quality, Support, longevity, parts availability/or no parts at all.
Kinda like samsung.

Never heard of VisionQuest but I checked it out and they have a built in Wall mount on their 32" plus its got a built in digital tuner - Make sure that whatever you buy has a Built in Digital Tuner otherwise HD will be an expensive option. This VisionQuest looks too good so Im gonna check it out at the stores this weekend and let you know. Like the name!
