There is a cute Japanese girl who sits next to me in night time accounting studies, but I have no idea how to talk to her without making a fool of myself in class. She sometimes stares at me, but I never stare at her out of fear of embarrassment. Any tips on how I could start things up without being overly obvious?

First catch her eye in class and smile...(actions speak louder than words) she'll know that you like her,then...after class go up to her and ask her to do something...get something to eat....just walk with her and talk about likes and dislikes...find out what she's into......Have fun!

Ask her how she's doing... if she'd like to go get a soda during break... how she's doing in class.. what she thinks... any of these are worth a try. Don't be afraid to make a "fool" of yourself... just BE yourself.
