No, I consider all individuals of the species Homo sapiens, humans in layspeak, to be a member of the Primates and the Kingdom Animalia. Ie you're a primate too!
By the way, good evolutionary biologists dont consider humans to be a high point...there is no direction in evolution, our species just happend to end up quite successful.
If anything, we are 'just another eukaryote'. The bacteria in the world far surpass us animals in number, rate of adaptation, diversity and 'strength' relative to size

We have hair---animals have hair.
We have blood---animals have blood.
We are organic---animals are organic.
We communicate---animals communicate.
We eat, drink and poop---animals eat, drink and poop.
No doubt...we are animals. That does not mean there may not be a higher power, higher purpose and a reason we have a bigger brain.
The problem is that we use our bigger brain in an ego centric manner, we abuse the planet and each other...mostly in the name of God and our Superior status.
If a higher power exists we are only part of the scheme and it would be unlikely we are the most important. We are, without a doubt, the most violent, selfish and destructive creature ever on the planet.

Yes. Just another variation along the same theme as the rest of the animals on the planet.

Highly evolved primates. Don't like it?? Sorry! Life's hard. I'd rather deal with the facts than allow myself to get suckered by some nice delusion.

Yup. According to them, humans are currently the highest point of evolution, but still just another animal among many.

Humans are animals, we're very developed and intelligent. If we are not animals or creatures, then what are we?

You must have slept through your biology class in junior high school. Humans are animals, mammals to be exact.

Of course not. A person who does not realize there is a God is not sub human. They are people like anyone else who just haven't experienced God.....yet. Lots of atheists came to know Jesus before they died, and thanks be to God.....I pray there are many more who will follow that number.

You say that like there's something wrong with being an animal.
I have news for you. Even if you believe in a higher being, you're stil basically an animal yourself.
