The military does accept males! If you are asking will you be disqualified, you have to tell us something before we can tell you anything.

You need to contact a recruiter and ask yourself. I suspect that your trying to start a argument over the gays in the military thing. Otherwise, you would have said "what are some reasons why a person might not be accepted by the military". You said male, some here can read between the lines , so stop trying to start a argument.

Well the military has a rule it is called the Dont Ask Dont Tell...well they will ask you once..(you have to sign a piece of paper) stating that you are not Gay.
Same goes for Drugs..
Also if you cannot pass the ASVAB for whatever branch you are going into Army, Navy,Air Force ect..
There are weight restrictions..Vision, Hearing, Strength..
Also their are some healthrestrictions,but they are not so strict on that anymore..You can get in with a waiver now..
They will check your spine (to make sure if it is straight, then they will check your feet to make sure you don't have flatfeet..and then the oddest thing is, they will take you into a room,to make sure that you are a man..not an imposter A woman trying to be a guy...;)

A. Physical Condition- you can't be 330 lbs and 5'8" and expect to be the guy on the front line.

B. Existing Medical Conditions- If you have cancer or lukemia, you can't be shooting and fighting all day long. If your are mentally retarded, they don't want you with a gun.

C. Age- You cannot be in good enough shape at 75 and expect to make it in

Childhood emotional issues, like adhd, ptsd, odd, etc..mental health disorders.
Not educated enough.
If they are only sons. Unless the parents agree to let him go.
