I've seen very slim women with cellulite so I don't think plain exercise will get rid of it - but it will improve the overall appearance.
My personal opinion is that too much salt in the diet is a big contributor to cellulite.
I've always been fit and active and never ever used salt in my cooking until I dated someone that hated eating anything without it. I soon noticed a little cellulite developing on my thighs. So, I stopped the salt and it disappearred pretty quickly.
From observing the lifestyle of friends of mine, I've also been led to believe that a combination of adding salt to your cooking, and taking the contraceptive pill, can be a serious contributor.
If you're on the pill, maybe think about changing over to an iud. It's much friendlier to your metabolism.
No salt - no contraceptive pill - and I bet you'll see a vast improvement :)
While you're in the shower, massaging the cellulite areas with a handheld contraption like the 3rd one down will help breakit down shift it as well ... http://www.bodything.co.uk/productlist.php?cat=9

I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.
However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.
I saw this info on the web and I gave it a go, what did I have to lose now! And, my god this is genius. Quick and easy. I feel so wonderful in my new, smooth, renewed figure! I am a yummy mummy now!

no, actually, that will make it look worse. the "cottage cheese" look is caused by tissue that is connecting the underside of your skin to the muscle layer beneath it. exercising causes you to burn fat, as we all know. if you take away the fat and tighten the skin, the cellulite becomes more noticable. the fat actually fills in the "gaps", as it were, between these connective tissues, making the cellulite less noticeable. it can't be "burned "off like fat, nor can it be surgically removed. think of it like this: if you put a marble into an empty balloon, it's pretty easy to see it. if you fill the balloon with water, the bump the marble makes on the outer surface of the balloon is far less noticeable. by the way, please don't waste your money on miracle creams, every legitimate study shows they don't work. anyone who tells you they do is misled, the same for anyone telling you execise will get rid of it.
