The San Francisco Bay Area. There is so much to see and do. In the City, there's Chinatown and North Beach (Italian), Fisherman's Wharf and the Embarcadero. Great shopping in the Union Square area. Golden Gate Park is a treasure. Up north a bit you have the Sonoma and Napa County Wine Country, and the beautiful Sonoma and Mendocino Coastlines. Go east to Sacramento (state capitol and home of the Gold Rush) and the San Joaquin Delta.

I live here and still I'd love to have two weeks to spend just being a tourist and enjoying this wonderful place. (I haven't had a vacation in 10 years, but if I got one, I'd spend it right here!)

Split your hotel reservations among San Francisco, Sacramento, and the City of Sonoma and Sea Ranch in Sonoma County. From there you can see and do so much.

Couer d' Alene, Idaho. Wow for beautiful, clean, and everything you'd like to do. There is even a theme park with roller coasters, etc. at Silversword Park.
It's such a nice little town. Everything you'd want there. Great camping, but even better accommodations at the big resort downtown.
Check out the website!
