I suppose that it depends on how that you bring it up. If you just blurt it out all of a sudden, he might think that you sound a little crazy. If you casually work it into a conversation, I imagine that any relationship minded person will respect you for your choice (as long as ou don't say it in a condescending manner toward other people how might have failed in this area -- like him, for example).
I think that it is admirable that you have kept yourself pure.

Like the last American Virgin over 26 on the face of the earth, and it would get on my nerves...the reactions that is, because the way you are is how more should be....you SHOULDN'T feel like an outcast. But you can't bring people up to your level...they can only drag you down to theirs, so...naturally they'd love to see you corrupted.

I wouldn't freak out but I would quickly assume that I would never get to have sex with her, so I would not get into a heavy relationship with her.

I would congratulate you, it's not often that someone is willing to stand on their principles today. My wife and I both waited, well, until we decided we were going to get married and then we just couldn't hold out any longer. Nevertheless, if he is the right man for you then he will understand your decision and be willing to abide by it.
