I haven't seen this guy for about 4 to 5 years. And out of the blue he told me he was single, had a good job, and didn't have any children. I didn't know how to respond because I didn't know if he was just telling because we haven't seen each other or he was interested in me. I am kind of shy so it could have been me. Well anyway after that little encounter, he hasn't spoken to me, and he dodges me in the same room. So I am so confused, because I don't understand what to do. I like him, but I can't get passed the fact that he goes out of his way to be like that. I feel like it is very childish.

so maybe between the initial encounter and the next time you saw him, he hooked up w/someone else. what difference does it make? don't waste time chasing. if he's truly avoiding you, let it be. if he's playing at making you chase him, who the hell has time for that? make the boys chase you, missus!

You could either talk to him or ignore him. He probably don't like you as much as you may like him...for some reasons. Or he's a really odd person who can't talk to someone he really likes...which leads him to avoid you. High possibility with him not liking you that much though...

Talking to him would probably the best for finding out how he feels about you, but it may end up hurting you and making him feel awkward.

So...I say forget about him and go on, look for someone else who actually respect who you are. Good luck and take care!

confront him to reassure him about what you feel in this current event. So both of you won't feel awkward. Just scream out, "STOP!", "WAIT!", "Oh, hold on, I have something to tell you", "[Guy's name], COME QUICK, THERE'S A ROBBER WITH A PANTY HOSE ON HIS HEAD AND HE"S GONNA ATTACK ME, AHHH!!! (sees him rushing in) ... nevermind, he's gone. Now, back to more important things... why are you avoiding me?! :@ SPEAK UP NOW, AND DANCE, U MONEY!! *takes out a whip and whip towards to the ground several times) MUAHAHAHAH"

ahem.

anyway, it's best for both of you to confront each other as oppose playing getting-back-at-yer-friend kinda thing. That's just plain stupid and a utter waste of time. I think it's best to just corner him in a way that he can't get out of, and then ask him WHY?! lol...

Or break something and ur both forced to fix it together... involving team work and some social! :D :D :D

i dunno...

the worse thing to do is just follow endlessly or popping randomly around the dude... That is something to add a reason as to why you would want to avoid someone.. >_>;; (it feels like stalking to me.)

He is waiting for you to make the first move. He already laid his cards out on the table.

He doesn't like you, and he is not mature enough to just say it. Forget about him and find someone else.
