I think the best thing to do is not to expect anything. If you expect something and it doesn't happen then you'll just be disappointed.

Yes it is wrong for you to be "upset" if you don't get anything. What are you going to get him? Just because you've been "seeing" him for "about" a month and a half doesn't mean he owes you anything. How many times have you seen him in that approximately 45 day period? Under what circumstances or situations have you seen him? Has he promised you anything, or are you just selling yourself, which is what "expecting" something for Valentine's, or any day, sounds like to me. Get a grip on yourself. God Bless you.

Dont raise your hopes to high cause 1. you guys just got to know each other 2. he may not be very interested in lovey dovey mushy Valentine's Day
If he's naturally a romantic sweet guy, he would give you something for sure. If not, dont be too upset or disappointed.
Whatever it is, dont keep guessing. Juz go ahead if you wanna give him something. It's the 21st Century after all ;-)

I think you should at least get a little something if you have been dating a month and a half. A card and a small gift would be completely appropriate. Around $20 would be about right.
You should get him something too! Or else you would have no right to complain if he didn't get you anything.

Well I would expect to get something small, like a card or some chocolates. I would not expect anything big. Don't feel bad if you dont get anything!!!

I agree that excepting people even the loved one will brings disappointments, each and each and every of the misbehaviors are in accordance to this yet there's a probability that one spread this theory no longer to love anybody. this may deliver more beneficial disappointment. Accepting the persons the way they are truly the reality that solid and undesirable exist in anybody, self appreciate and wishing peace and love for each mankind can help no longer being disillusioned.

Expect nothing, be very happy if you get something. and NO why would you be upset if you don't get anything? Are you seeing this guy to GET things from him or because you enjoy his company?

Id say that at a minimum you should at least expect a nice, simple night out (or in) whichever he thinks who'd be more into

He should get you something if you have been dating exclusively for that long. Don't expect too much. A rose or some chocolates would be nice.
