I gauged mine to a 0 recently, and after almost a week they are still kinda swollen. They aren't really sore anymore though. When will the swelling go away ?

2g to 0g is a big jump overall, of all my stretches, that was the worst and my ears stayed swollen a bit longer than I expected them too. But if you skipped gauged or stretched too fast, this could be your body's way of telling you that you hurt yourself. Oh, and its not gauging your ears, its called stretching.

Swelling goes down quicker if you use sea salt soaks daily or every other day. Also, taking Motrin or Midol will help a bit too.

As long as you didn't have a tear or a blow-out they shouldn't be swollen too much longer. If you have concerns have a professional piercer in your area take a look, most know a lot about stretching and should be able to tell you if all is well (my guess is everything is fine because by now you'd have noticed other symptoms and problems)

If that is finished good that is wonderful, considering your ears would be healthful, in case you circulate to rapid and get blow outs or cat *** lobes, it will seem nasty. be certain you do lots of analyze so which you realize what you're doing, there is extra too it then purely shoving great hunks of plastic into your piercing. additionally, in case you EVER plan to circulate lower back to frequent, the widely known factor of no return is in basic terms a 2g (some situations smaller), so understand in case you do circulate to a 0g or 00g, you will prefer surgical operation to circulate lower back to frequent.
