If your hair is healthy it is a quite easy problem to solve. Just use a drop of hair oil (ask your stylist to recommend the most suitable for you), rub it with your fingertips and then apply it to the lenght of your bangs before using the straightener. Don't apply hair oil on your roots! Otherwise, it will get greasy. Then, proceed with the "straightening". lol. Finally, use hair wax (again ask your stylist to recommend the most suitable for you), only in the tips of your bangs. but a very tiny bit, because it may spoil everything. The wax also helps you style it! Well, good luck! and remember not to use too much from each product!

haha hun i have that problem too. but there's no avoiding it. us lucky girls with curly hair aren't destined to have straight hair. I know that supposedly, there's a straightener that keeps the frizz in and keeps it straighter in moisture, but light moisture. I think the straightners called an Amika. hope i helped :]

If you have the kind of hair that curls when it gets wet, then you most likely will not be able to prevent it. Does this happen often? If it does, maybe you should just go with it and let your curls run free? Curls are lovely.

Make sure that you are using both a smoothing conditioner and a smoothing serum before you dry and straighten your bangs.

I HAVE THE SAME PROB. IF ITS RAINING THAT DAY I JUST PLAN TO HAVE CURLY HAIR. IF YOU DONT WANT THAT THEN STAY OUT OF THE RAIN OR WEAR A RAIN CAP.
