When I was young, my pops would take me to work with him. He would have me look for little Leprechauns in between offices, under desks, in closets, etc. In hindsight, I am sure he did this to keep me out of his face, and used the all to common "Leprechaun babysitter" technique to achieve this. <---LOL Kind of like the electronic babysitter syndrome....It worked, I stayed busy for hours at a very young age..I really believed I'd find them...

Unless your pops had you looking for Leprechauns to...then maybe it is common. What say you?

I never believed in Leprechauns...not now or before

That was a test done on the more prominent families, if memory serves correct, to see if they can fool them.

,I am a Celtic Pagan, and do very much believe in Leprechauns
fairies, sprites, and many other things that most "adults" refuse to see.

I grew up on a farm, and we did not need babysitters, we had too many chores to do for us to find time to get into trouble.

I use to. I remember one time so perfectly when I was in Kingergarten I had this little Barbie bucket thingy and my mom put it behind my door and filled it up with shinny pennies and told me the leoperchauns came (it was St.Patty Day) and I was soooo excited!

That's a sweet memory. My mom would usually encourage us to go outside and look for Leprachauns on St. Patricks Day. I believed when I was little, and it was fun.
