You are idealizing something that was not meant to be or you feel guilty about how it ended.
"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" is the old saying. Be confident that God was on your side at the time and be thankful for the blessing of a wife and children.
Send her a note or card to apologize for how it ended, just to let her know. Then your conscience is clear and you can (and should) focus on the present times. Leave the past in the past.

i think u answered the question. YOU'RE guilty of how your relationship ended. you have to realize that some people can never be forgotten. but that doesnt mean you have to have her in life. maybe a part of you is still cherishing what you had and you're thinking what could have happened if u end up together... what you need to do, i suggest, is move on with your life. like what you said, you have a great life and family, what more could you ask for?she wasnt meant for you. what u had has ended. something that you cannot do anything about anymore. cherish what u had with her,but move on. life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards... good luck to you hommie!

As corny as this sounds, it is very natural to never forget your first love. I am 28 and married, but my ex (6 years ago) still comes across my mind once in awhile--especially when we do certain things that I used to do and first did with my ex and when certain songs come on. Hope this helps!

Two things:
A) Realize NOW that she is not the best girl that the world has to offer.
B) Get a new gf. You'll quickly forget the last.

u noe wat they say.. 'u'll never forget ur first love'.. there's absolutely nothing we can do bout it unfortunately.. it happens to almost all of us.. so dun feel alone in this matter.. no advice can help too coz if that person is meant to be in our life, once upon a time, dat person is entitled to stay in our heart til it's time for us to let go.. but there's never a good enuff time for dat to happen.. coz wit our first love, that's wen we treasure all the little things in life and we get reminded of it almost all the time and we thank them for introducing us towards 'love'.. so good luck and dun feel guilty bout how u end wit ur first love.. u're juz guilty that ur first love dun lasts til marriage.. but as u mentioned, u have a great life and a great family now.. congratz on dat! it aint matter if she still enter ur thots, coz as long as she didnt significantly enter ur life again..
