Play the dang disc on a regular DVD player and hook the sound out (left and right) to the sound in (left and right) of your cassette recorder --- push play on the DVD player--- push Record on your cassette recorder ---and ---YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA you've made a cassette of the DVD sound track !!!

You probably could if you can find a radio cassette player that has the audio inputs, then all you need to do is connect the audio cables from the DVD's output to the radio cassette's input.

This isn't the best way, but if you can find a really quite room, then put the radio cassette player next to the TV or speakers, and then hit the record button on the radio as you're watching the DVD.

You can use a cassette player that has a mic on it...Or if you have a home system that has a cassette player / recorder in it you can run cords into the aux jacks on the home system and record what you want...

The only way I know of is to route the dvd sound to a tape deck and record it manually.

I guess the only possible way would be to convert it into a CD and then they have some special software for conversion of CD to VCR i guess... But I'm not sure about that part.. You are talking about Video and NOT audio right?
cause if it's audio then you can directly record it while it's playing.
