some say, three, so it's like a triangle. so if the trinity was four, so it's like a square? so if it was 5 in one, so it's like the shape of diamond.

Abraham = God is only one
Issac = God is only one
David = God is only one
Solomon = GOd is only one
Moses = God is only one
christians = trinity !?

and all the 1st commandment told you to believe is:
YOU SHALL NO TAKE OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.

Alright. It's the Trinity, meaning 3. God is God, Jesus, and The Holy Ghost. One=3. It's a Godhead, so to speak. When they said you shalt not take any Gods before Me, God is a part of the Trinity, so technically, your not taking other God's before God because your worshipping 3 in One.

River Girl, It's Three, there is no Mother God. It's God, Jesus, The Holy Ghost.

Ok, so the trinity concept is one that is hard to wrap your head around. Think of it this way, the trinity is like water, it is liquid, gas and ice, but ultimatly they are all still water. That is how the trinity works, father, son, and holy spirit, three different forms, all the same essence. So really the first commandment is still being followed.

The " Trinity" is a false teaching.
Almighty God is singular. The One that Abraham had dealings with.
Jesus Christ is His son.
the Holy Spirit is God's POWER, not a 'person'
No one, not even Jesus, is equal to God.
But Jesus DOES agree with his Father in heaven.
And WHO spoke out of heaven when Jesus, on the earth, was baptised.
Jesus is not a ventriloquist.

Its not four; therefore, there is nothing to explain.

You have only used those of the Old Testament in your explanation to your question. What does the New Testament say? If you would study to learn.. and not tear down,... you would be ashamed of this question you ask.

Nik-Nak... where in the scriptures do you read the word Bible.. but on the cover and side of it?

If the Trinity was four can we also say it's like a rectangle? But if it was four I would say the more the merrier.

the first commandment says "You shall take no other gods before me" It does not say, I am the only god.

and the word "God" here is the hebrew word....

elohim

meaning..."Gods"

plural.

el = God
him = masculine plural.

ooops. however, if you look at how the Israelites practice their doctrine, they say "there is only one true Gods" meaning more than one person united in one substance.
