It depends. There was a study done by some doctors awhile back where people ate McDonalds on a constant basis...to make a long story short they had to take one man off to the hospital because his heart began to act up....he started to have complications. I am not trying to be mean or anything....but if you are on the heavy side...I wouldn't eat it. A lot of fast food places have sell or serve food that is pre seasoned and everything...Someone even told me that the meat thay McDonalds use isn't 100%......A lot of foods aren't good for you......and your system does not break it down like it should.......You need to get up and fix you a bowl of cereal with a banana or some frest fruit and call it a morning. Stop and get you a muffin or something. You can also eat a granola bar like kashi...takes some getting use to but it is good for you.and a banana....I mean instant oatmeal in the microwave.....
Some suggestions...I think that you should iron your clothes the night before and get everything together that you have to take to work. I mean everything. and sit it by the door or as close to the door as you can....I have found that by getting everything together the night before it spares me some time.
My experience with McDonalds: I have given it up just about...every now and then I get a fish sandwhich but that is about it. My sis has gotten so sick from eating McDonalds...so you be the judge. I wouldn't eat it.
You should also make sure you get the proper amount of rest too. Good luck and I hope this helps you.

Yes. Ugh watch supersize me. Studies, have shown that eating fast food on a regular basis, will make you feel worse. And it has other medical side affects as well.
If you're rushing in the morning, and don't have time to have a bowl of cereal or something, try making something the night before and sticking it in the fridge so it's ready to go in the morning. Doesn't necessarily even have to be a breakfast food, maybe some fruit, and a few slices of cheese or lunch meat.

it seems that it would still take 5-10 mins in the drive through to get whatever you want, then endanger yourself by maneuvering in a way to eat it while driving. cereal, pop tart, plus all sorts of different things they sell in the grocery aisle that take only 2-3 minutes to heat up.
if however, you MUST for some reason, go to McDonalds, just look at the nutritional label for whatever your eating, and make a mental note to make sure you dont eat more fats or cholesterol that will put you over 100% DV (daily values). LIke, if two egg mcmuffins are 30% your daily value of fat, thats ok, as long as for the rest of the day, you only have 70% more. anything can be healthy when eaten in moderation.

If you eat any fast food every-day (doesn't matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner), then the bad effects will add up after a certain period of time (usually 3-4 months). To determine how badly it effects your health, it all depends on your physiology, your physical activity, and diet - for example, what do you eat for lunch and dinner? If you eat healthy food (veggies and low fat, low carb) for lunch and dinner, and exercise regularly, and don't smoke, you'll probably be fine. But if you don't eat healthy, don't exercise, and smoke... then, you're going to be in health trouble sooner rather than later.
What kind of breakfasts do you have? It depends on the type of food you eat also. If it is fatty stuff, it will probably affect you sooner - by clogging your arteries, for example.
Instead of eating at McDonalds for breakfast, try getting granola bars at the grocery store and eat them for breakfast, with milk or orange juice, for example.

John,
Eating out daily is bad...no way around it.
Try Mother Nature's Fast Food and pick up a variety of fruit to eat during your commute.
You can pick up a week's worth at the market or apples, oranges and bananas from 7-11 or the fruit plate from McDonalds.

Eating McDonald's breakfast every so often is not going to be harmful. Here is how I look at it: It's better to have SOMETHING in you rather than NOTHING. You need energy in the morning, and breakfast is the cure to that.
If you haven't seen SuperSize Me, you should see it yes - but that guy is eating it for every meal, and he's ordering the largest things possible - so ofcourse it's going to be AWFUL for your health.
While it may be better to just grab a pop-tart for the road, nothing fills you like an actual meal. There are a lot worse things that can happen to you rather than having MacDon in the mornin'!

I have an english muffin w/jelly, some kind of fruit like a banana or orange pieces and then take my coffee with me for my drive to work. It takes like 2 minutes to toast a muffin, peel a banana and start a pot of coffee (especially if you have one that has a timer you can set). AND it is much cheaper than McD's every morning.

Yes. Try a bowl of cold ceral...e.g. Total or something like that with high vitamins, etc. Cheaper and will take as much time as going all the way to McD's and waiting for your fast food and will be better for you in the long run.
