calorie-count.com stated i needed 1600 calories to maintain my weight of 106lbs ( im 5'8 and 17 yrs old female, i do light exercise)

does this sound right to you??

you are VERY light for your height, and ya, it really wouldnt take much calories to maintain your weight. i suggest however you up to 1800-2000 calories a day, just so you can move up atleast 5-10 lbs more. your current weight could prove hazardous in your future.

calories should be based on the amount of fat free mass that a person has and the level of daily activity.

i am personal trainer and yeah it sounds good to me butyou should go down to the local gym and ask them as they can lok at you and be able to tell you if you are lacking in something more then another hing.

too skinny, not in the healthy range of healthy weight range... I think you should gain a bit...
