I know how you feel, i too fell in love with a pink hippo once!
His name was Clyde. He liked moonlight walks and long novels and we fell in love instantly.
But he used to get mud all over my carpets, and would spend hours in the tub!
Eventually I realised that I could do better. Now I have a Blue Elephant called Murray!

You should drop the pink hippo immediately and take up with a pink elephant. Pink hippos are entirely fictional, and I fear you may end up lonely when you find it doesn't exist. At least with pink elephants, you can see them whenever you get drunk.

oh this is a tricky one......hippo is slippery at best..but the rare and en-dangered pink....well.....once had..is more addicting than the orange monkey.
