It sounds like to me that you may have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and it is making you think and worry about this constantly. If the therapist that you are seeing isn't helping then you need to find another one that will help you. My brother has severe OCD and with the help of his (awesome) therapist and medication he is completely symptom free and has gotten his life back. You do not have to live like this and there is help for it. You have to advocate for yourself and if your current doctor isn't helping you it is your right to find one who can. Good luck Sweetie and don't give up! You deserve to live you life free of these fears! :)

First take it easy. Stop everyting for a moment. Take a deep breath or something. Just be calm. If your clean that's good. You don't have to worry any more. As long as you protect your self right you don't have anything to worry about. Plus this is your last year of high school, you should be having fun. The more you thing of something bad happening the more it's likely going to happen. It's called the law of atracttion. See your self passing high school. See your self as the person you used to be. Good things come to people who think good. If you keep thinking about getting HIV you might end up getting it. But if you think about passing and getting good grades and not getting HIV then all that stuff is more likely to happen. Be optimistic. Don't let a thing bother you. No matter what it is. Always keep a good happy thought in your head. When you start to get frustrated or pissed off. Start thinging of sometiong that makes you happy. GOOD LUCK!

It's good that you had the test done, and it's very good that it came back negative.

If you are living in fear that you are infected, why not look at those around you who actually are. They are not living in fear because they have it, they are probably trying to live normal lives, and trying to have as much fun as they still can.

You may possilby be trying to draw attention to yourself. Perhaps your jeleous of the attention the infected people are receiving. No one would want to say that about themselves, so you'll have to look deep inside and you'd have to be honest with yourself to figure out if that's really what your problem is.

I'd also recommend you continue to see your theropist.

This is something you need to discuss with a parent and from there, you need to speak to a health professional. You need to get all the answers before you worry yourself to death. It's highly probable that you're in good health. You're too young to be obsessing about this. Get the answers. Once you've got the answer, remember this agony you're going through at the moment and make wiser decisions about your sexuality in the future.

Well first of all calm down it's not the end of the world. Second of all just because u got tested does not mean u have it . I understand what u are saying like i read symptoms of cancer and i think about it so much and everyday i think i have cancer and also i have agoraphobia so its really hard to deal with them kind of thinking issues.Lastly you cannot get hiv from touching things it has to be sexually or drug use or some type of thing like that.Like i said calm down you are going to be just fine hun.Well i hope i have answered your statement for ya i done my best..anyway take care of yourself and flush all them negative thoughts !!

I gather from your rambling that you fear contracting HIV. But since your test came back negative you're in the clear for now. So . . . two easy solutions for your unwarranted fear -- Practice safe sex . . . or since you're still in high school, it wouldn't be out of the question to practice no sex for a while! Meanwhile, enjoy your youth . . . it passes too quickly!

you cannot go through life fearing something you cannot control. you just have to accept what is around you and go on. HIV is no different then cancer or any other life threatening disease. stop worrying.
