Poetic things carry more meaning than declarative sentences. Why insist on science existing in the Bible instead of treating it as a poetic discourse on your God and humanity?

I agree my friend. If the bible was viewed in the light of a book of parables there would be a lot less hate.

Many people simply don't understand that the bible was written by people of an ancient time where there were no scientific explanations for what we think to be a fact now. They needed to use a simple language to explain it or to simply put it in words every one could understand.

Actually, instead of poetic, I'd say that it's Metaphors, which are more of a visual help for everyone to understand.

Whatsoever, people can't see this and take everything to literal.

Think of the Bible as God's love letter to us. It's filled with His love toward us. Search and you shall find.
