I've wondered the same thing. The Bible was what pushed me to convert to Islam. Kind of ironic, actually.

Science contradicts itself as well, does that mean we should dimiss science!
Science is supposed to be about laws and preditablity, so how doe we go about doing that in view of the Heisenberg Uncertainty PRincipal. It means we can never make a prediction about an Electron.
What about Plancks ranmist views. He says the moment you observe something you have changed it, thus we can NEVER have truly untained imperical data.
These things contradict what Science is all about and turn it into gambling. Science now becomes the LOTTO throw each week.
Einstein didn't like all this very much and said "God doesn't play dice!"
Einstein felt the universe was a well ordered, lubricated machine and if you looked hard enough you'd find the explaination for everything. With certianty within a sphere of relativity.
Now, with contradictions in science how are we going to get anything done!

I think the a lot of the bible is misinterpreted as contradictions. It could be that it is translated wrong but I know that the original Hebrew version is accurate because of the bible codes (http://bibleprobe.com/biblecode.htm) The prophecies have come true from the bible and they are so specific that they cannot be coincidences. The bible had scientific facts also, (http://www.clarifyingchristianity.com/b_proof.shtml)

If you had studied textual criticism you would quickly realize there is overwhelming evidence of the accuracy of todays bible. It is the same old testament that they read two thousand years ago. We have over 23,000 manuscripts that contain part or all of the the new testament books dating to the first century. There are still no proven contradictions in the bible, when proper hermaneutics are applied (the science of interpreting Scripture)
It would be beneficial to get your facts from a reputable source rather than a radical propaganda site.

Humankinds understanding of Gods word may be contradictory, but Gods Word is perfect and Eternal.
There is not a single contradiction in the Bible, Not One.
Your interpretation may differ, or your understanding, but Gods Word is the same today as it was yesterday and days past.
God Bless You...Peace.

Honestly, it's -easy- to look at the Bible from afar, and claim what you want about it. But believe me, if you actually look into it, know who the writer was, who he was writing to, and why he was writing. And you know the customs of the time, and don't take the scripture out of context, you will find ZERO contradictions. Most of those 101 I could disprove without having to look them up. They're so ridiculous.

You have E-mailed me about this same bullshit. Sorry, but that is exactly what it is. I e-mailed you back, you tried to dissect each thing that I said, and STILL did not get the point! You have preconceived notions, and nothing will change them. There are no contradictions in the Bible.

So humans messed up some of the details. Have you ever wondered if the details ever mattered to the Hebrew people? They didn't. The specific time or exact numbers, not so important. What was important was what God was doing for His people. And the Satan/God thing has its own expalanation. If you want to hear more, email me.

If truly the word of God...then God has a severe split-personality problem.
God didn't write anything. PEOPLE wrote those things. Then the Romans fluffed it all up.
It's a mish-mash of many things at this point. Everyone will end up seeing at least ONE truth in the whole mess. Maybe that's all it's supposed to do??

Yes it's the word of God. Name any contradiction and I'll explain why it isn't one.
And I wouldn't trust going to any site from Islam that discusses the Bible.
