I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, what he did was on behalf of an allied Government. On the other hand, he was still a spy on the behalf of a foreign government. When you get caught doing that, there are severe consequences. I also think a lot of people have been turned thinking they were working for Israel, and they actually were working for other grouops.

I think in the end...he's a traitor. The traditional punishment for sedition is death.

if by support you mean I think its stupid that the man is in jail for all this time, then yes.

The man committed a crime, no one is doubting that, but if you compare it to other spys that have been caught and the type of information that he leaked then it looks like he served his time.

That is of course there is more to the story than the public knows. In which case they might have a very valid reason for his punishment being a life sentience.

I think he did a stupid thing, and deserved jail time for it, but I support his being released. If his crime was as the goverment has described it to the public, and you compare that to the sentances in similar spying cases, the man should have been released from prison long ago. He's served his time.

i don't care too much for him, but i do feel some pity for him over everything that's happened.
