religion is the biggest scam going.
you can join.. become a minister!
ya lure in the weak.. ya take their hearts into your void.. take their money.. ask them their secrets and to confide in you... and you're tax exempt also!
you're also a respected member of the community and get a free church...
if you touch any children or have a scandal.. you'll always have some who'll support you to no end.. especially if you use the donations to pay off the authorities.
ain't that great?!

As anti religion as I can be I still find some worth to be gleaned from the moralities and and sometimes insights but they must be purged in the process most of the time for the basis of organized religion even when sound in structure is false to begin with and that makes even the most altruistic and acceptable values insidious and possibly pernicious in the long run so I caution anyone seeking moral references or other to exercise the utmost scrutiny in doing so. So I only agree in part.

No, I don't agree, but probably not for the reason that you might think.
Religion provides a code of morals and ethics that help curb some of man's tendencies towards stuff like murder, theft, rape, etc. Without the moral restraints that religion provides, this planet would be in a bigger mess than it already is.

I believe that we should have beliefs, guided by religion, but it shouldn't be everybody's life. It is just stupid if people keep on talking about it and annoying to others.
