Thousands of Christians are leaving Sunni/ Shiite strongholds heading to Nineveh. A Pastor was beheaded. A 14 yr old crucified for sharing his beliefs. Women had acid thrown on their faces.
The Iraqi church is under seige, yet the world remains silent.
In Iraq's constitution is protection for people to not be killed for their faith.
The 'Jerusalem prayer team' sent me this information today.
Has anybody else heard anything like this?

Christians are the most persecuted religion in the world, especially at the hands of muslim governments. let us pray for all of them.

Yes I have heard these horror stories and more. This is not something new. Christians have been running for their lives or worshiping in home churches in many Muslim countries. Islam is not peaceful or in any way tolerant of other beliefs, including sects of their own. They want world domination. We need to pray that Muslims realize how wrong their belief is. We need to pray for all Christians in any islamic country. We need to pray for our troops. We need God!

So, when people were dying in Rwanda there was no begging for prayer, or all the people in Darfur, or when muslims were the victims in the balkans, well then, lets just remain silent, but oh, wait we pray only for other Christians. How about the inocent muslims we are killing now. I feel bad for the Christians who are getting killed, but I feel bad for anybody who has to go up against hardship such as this, but geeze what the hell kind of person am I, Just an cold hearted Atheist that would help anybody, not just Chirstians.

We are all praying with you for those people that don't know God over in the Middle East. We're are also praying encouragement and boldness for those that already share the faith.

The Kurds in Iraq are Christian, and have been persecuted for years. This is not a new thing. Saddam Hussein used nerve gas against the Kurds. Citizens of his own country. Because they were Christian. This is not breaking news, hon.
