I work 12 hours a day Monday through Friday and I am thankful I have a job but my job is very demanding and all I want to do is sleep when I get home, what are good healthy ways to get more stamina and energy to get through the week?

daily exercise. I know you don't feel like it after a twelve hour day, plus the commute to and from work but some daily exercise, aerobic type exercise, the kind that gets your heart rate up and make you sweat, would help. and no drinking alcoholic beverages! well, maybe one or two. lol

eat more complex carbs, like oatmeal, whole grain wheat, ect. Carbs are the bodies primary energy source. Vitamins don't provide any energy. That's just a myth, the only macronutrients that provide energy are fats, carbs, and protein, and Carbs are the primary source. Don't drink caffenine, it's just bad for you. Ween yourself into water, try to reach the goal of 8 glasses of 8oz a day.
Although vitamins don't provide energy, your immune system can benefit from them. Avoid Saturated fat. And if a label says Hydrogenated, or Partially Hydrogenated, just walk away. On weekends, go to bed as soon as you get hom Friday, then get up as early as permissible and get any work done, relax, meditate, and have some fun. Then go to bed early. The same for Sunday.
I was in your situation about a year ago. You won't turn into superman/woman, but it's a start. Also get your blood pressure, and cholesterol checked. As well as a blood test. You never know when this fatique could actually be stemming from something serious.

Try finding 20-30 minutes a day to get in some exercise. Maybe take a brisk walk. It will help with stress and you'll actually be in a better mood!

Eat a healthily, balanced diet with enough protein, complex carbs and no sugar. Avoid caffeine.
