My dog was really infected with round worms when we first got her. She was extremely skinny. Now she appears to be bloated, drinks tons of water and will only eat 1 meal a day. (She is 10 months old now). She today she has started having problems with bowel movement. She usaully goes 3 times a day but today she struggled but still went. Any ideas what might be wrong with her?

She may be getting bound up. Give her water in her food. This will help lossen the stools. Also feed her twice a day splitting what you normally give her in 2 this will help. Give her food leave it down for a while then pick it up. one in the morning. Then give her another feeding a night or late afternoon. Keep a close eye on her stools. If this doent help take her to the vet

Is she spayed? If not then she may be going into heat. Yes, dogs can get bloated and cramps and all that too....... Female dogs start their first cycle at about 10 months old.

Just an idea.

You need to take your dog to a veterinarian, it may be something very simple or it may be something that could need medication to help. Veterinarians are really not expensive and you should take your dog if anything seems even a little bit wrong. Your puppy will appreciate it!

assuming you treated the roundworms properly... she may have ingested something and have an obstruction.
