Do you want to ruin his life? Wreck his career? Land him in Jail? The man is in a position of authority over you, As a coach/teacher at your school, he is ethically and morally bound not to get romantically or sexually involved with students, underage or not. If you like the man, and respect him, leave it alone. If he flirts with you, I'll bet he flirts with all of the girlish ankles he tapes.

"its not just my imagination he really flirts" - How do you know that? Have you asked other people (preferably ones with objective opinion)? The mind could sometimes distort reality especially if you like someone and probably wish that he'd flirt with you. Hell, he could be naturally charming and 'flirts' with any girl. Who knows?
Anyway, unless he initiates a move, feel free to have a crush on him, and nothing more. Contrary to romance novels and other works of fiction, school affairs can get both of you into trouble no matter the age or age difference. You'll be subjected to gossip, perhaps face an expulsion or something worse. You're a senior and it's the last and most important year in your schooling years and you'll be better off making wonderful memories than engaging in an affair such as this. Feel free to date him after you leave school.

I doubt it is really "love" you have for your coach. Him being an authority figure that shows you attention and that you spend a lot of time with has a lot to do with your feelings. If you really have feelings for him, consider this...If you have a relationship with him, he will lose his JOB. You didn't mention whether or not he was married either, that is something to consider as well.
He is just as flattered by your attention as you are by his.
Be careful, this is not a game or a movie!

Do not get involved with your teachers
we often have the hots for teacher believe me i did when i was in school, often these kinda relationships go bad in a bad way
when i am saying bad is bad , i m thinking that someone like him should be profesinal enough to respect students,
not worth the risk believe me

It sounds like you like the fact that this guy (who is like 10 years older then you) is flirting with you. I think a lot of older guys are hott, and I have a few teachers now I think are hot, but I don't get excited if I think they are flirting with me. ESPECIALLY when they are 10 years older.
But your only 17. When you get older your realize that it's just wrong! Think like a woman, not a little girl.

Listen baby, don't worry. Graduation is just around the corner. I am in the same situation. There is this teacher who I totally like, and he likes me too. Everytime I see him he hugs me, and it's really tight so he squeezes my boobs. He is married, but I've made it clear to him that I am interested. He always makes sexual remarks that are hidden. He asked me one day if I had been good, then said, " I guess not. Look at all of those Mardi Gras beads."
He even let me wear his wedding ring. That means it isn't all that sacred to him, and he wanted me to wear a ring from him one day.

sick and wrong......stop going to basketball games and go to another school! I HATE it when kids fall for their teachers....it's so sick! Guys can flirt without meaning it. admire him from afar if you must, but tape your own ankles!
