You've heard of "three strikes and you're out"?
oh, and you came to the wrong place if you're looking for sympathy.
Ok, first of all you're a "compulsive shoplifter"...
...you need some psychological help before you end up in the "Big House".
Now, with this latest offense, you could be guilty of Perjury too
(the willful giving of false information to a police officer).
If you're parents don't know about this yet...
TELL THEM TONIGHT...you might need a lawyer for this one...the sooner you act to correct this, the better off you will be.
Go to this site and type "shoplifting" in the Search box for an explaination as to why you do what you do:

Good luck!

You got some kind of compulsion to steal?? You might have a mental health issue that is more important than this.
Can they figure out who you are? Certainly, if they bother to check the prints. The prints are taken as part of a routine booking procedure.
Can you get away with the fake name? Maybe. The consequences of being caught can turn this misdemeanor into a felony.
This can spiral out of control for you. Go get some mental health assistance for the kleptomania. Go to the police station or prosecutor and straighten out the name thing. Tell the court you are trying to get help for your problem.
The judge might give you another break. If not, well, you reap what you sow. Take your medicine, change your life.

Yes. I say turn yourself in go to court and the judge should be easy, unless your hibitual offender you might go to house of correction for 90 days. I would get a Lawyer, and they have ways doing agreement with the procecutor, which make them give you a leaner fine, or probation, but if you violate probation then your seeing the big house where there idiots that don,t like you, or anyone. 1. go get the right ID, this is your top priority.2. bring the right documents to the police station, with an attorny.3. make sure you have some scoure of moneys went you go there. 4.the more you wait the harder it going to be. 5. False ID is serious shits who know if your no focking a bomb threat, or wanted.

While your situation needs immeadiate attention, I would sit down and do some soul searching and when you've finally accepted the fact that YOU made the situation worse than it should have been, You, can still clean it up. 1st., Don't wait for them to come and pick you up. Start tomorrow off by going into the Court your scheduled into and telling the clerk there," O.K. I know I messed up and to so my sincerity and willingness to accept responsibility, I'm here to right the wrong." (note) To be on the safe side I would be sure to take at least $200.00 with me when I went in. Remember, you cause this. I wish you luck.
GOD BLESS/GOOD LUCK!!

I would not do anything I would just wait and see what happens think about it if you turn yourself in your going to get an obstructing an officer ticket added as well you will get the same ticket if they track u down that is if they figure out the fake name dosent exist u will get the same ticket I have been in these type of situations before police screw up at thier job's just as much as anybody. just think about if you turn yourself in you would have never known if they would have caught you. I personally would not turn myself in but it's your descion trust me the judge won't really care when he sentences you if u turned your self in or they just found u if they find out it was u and if they did'nt take your prints on a computer they did it on a cardboad sheet there is no way they will find u trust me

you shouldn't have been shoplifting in the first place. if you really wanted the item, you should have waited until you had money or borrowed the money from a friend. Now, no matter what you do, you will be deported. I wish you the best, though, and next time dont shoplift or give fake i.d.

Holy Heck yes, you have just committed Forgery on several legal documents. Anything you signed with that fake name can be considered a count of forgery.
You're on your way to becoming a real criminal now instead of some petty theif. Now you just need to get addicted to drugs and live with a woman who screws around on ya. It will be the perfect combination for your evil genius to grow to adulthood.

You pretty much screwed. I'd be really surprised if you do not do some jail time. Why would you lie especially to the police ? They are gonna find out who you are eventually. Lying is another charge.
