I've been wiping the floor for about 3 hours now. I've gone over it numerous times and it's almost clean but not quite. My question.... can I go to bed and leave the floor if it is still slightly cloudy from the grout (and wipe it again tomorrow of course) or do I have to make it squeeky clean tonight?

I have used clean water and lots of it. I have been on my hands and knees cleaning it ever since I applied the grout. The grout is wiped up off the floor it's just the cloudy haze that is taking forever to go away.

You're better off to completely clean it tonight before it dries up. Use a sponge and lots of CLEAN water (change it frequently) until the floor is no longer cloudy. 3 hours, though, may be too late. Good luck.

When it is dry, try one of those green scrubby pads, it will take the haze right off. Vacuum up any dust left behind then seal the tile and grout. I use a product called aquamix, from lowes. You just wipe it on with a sponge or paint pad. It comes in semi gloss or gloss. No I do not work for the company I just installed about 250 sq feet of tile in our new home.

Don't worry about the haze left behind.

Whatever you do, just make sure, you put sealant on tomorrow, or you hate the tile forever!!!
