Okay here is the story.... I was watching this little girl (my parents were down stairs) then I had to take the dog out. So my dad was watching her and she jumped up on the couch, and before anybody could get her, she fell backwards and hit her head on the corner of a metal table. She started crying really bad and I though it was just a bruise but when I checked again, she was bleeding on her head. I ran upstairs and got some bactine and neosporin and put it on her cut. It stopped bleeding on its own and after looking at it a bit, I realized it wasn't to deep and only looked like a little scratch. She was able to sit p by herself and watch T.V. by herself but I was very scared to find her sleeping on the couch. I tried to wake her up and she just looked at me. I told her to say her name and she murmered it and fell back asleep. We called the parents and they came and picked her up. I'm just wondering if she should get seen by a doctor. She wakes up when I call her name... Please help!!

She is probably fine. Having had what I call the head trauma kids (my kids would hit their head on anything) you need to know that little kid's heads are very sturdy things.
The bleeding is common.
The only time you would need to be concerned is if the pupils of the eys were different sizes and/or she started throwing up. Those are signs of a concussion.
She probably fell asleep because of the time, that's normal for little kids to fall asleep early in the evening.

My son did the EXACT same thing (he is 18mo) about a month ago. I talked to an ER nurse at a childrens hospital and she suggested that with a bump that hard, you just want to ensure the skull isnt fractured. It sounds scarey but needs to be done. she told me to wait 2 hours after the baby goes to sleep, wake the baby up and check to make sure the eyes arent crossed. Then wake her up again in 4 hours and do the same thing. It sucked over night having to wake a sleeping child and actually make them look at you with full open eyes (you cant pull them open) but it was WELL worth the peace of mind.

Awww poor thing! Head wounds bleed pretty bad. That's a good sign that she is able to wake up and say her name even if it was just a murmur. I would be concerned if she didn't wake up at all. A couple more signs of a concussion would be her eyes aren't dialating correctly or vomiting.

Anytime a child hits their head and is not able to wake up needs to be seen by the doctor. Accidents happen but for her saftey and to rule out any head trauma she needs to be taken to the ER

She probably should, but now that she's with her parents there's really not much you can do. Hopefully, they know what to watch for and will take her to the doctor, if they feel it is necessary. Don't worry, more than likely she is okay. Kids have hard heads. LOL!

you're purely a freshman. truthfully, analyzing this narrative, you seem too immature to be going out on a date. what's this sentence on the top approximately being pregnant and having twins would desire to do with something? If that's a connection with probable having intercourse, forget it. This female looks enjoying you for a fool. She is conscious you like her, so she's being flirtatious. basically go away it at that. Wait a pair of years earlier asking somebody out on a date. you will replace into greater useful and able to shelter your self.

Her parents need to take her to the ER, you need to go with them so you can explain exactly what happened, since the parents were not there they cannot tell the doctors how she acted right afterward, etc.

She needs to be taken to the ER just in case she has a concussion. She may be fine but just to be sure.

It is the parents' responsibility at this point. Tell your dad the little girl's family is gonna sue you unless you get $5000. Then go buy yourself something nice. Blackmail? Nah.....just smart business. Your dad will be so happy with how business savvy his little girl is.
