Honey, JJ will be just tooooo glad to see you and be back home again to nurture any ill feelings. Although he might hide whenever he hears that dreaded word "vet."

If you adopted your baby from a shelter or rescue organization, make sure to bring your paper work in with you. The paperwork will tell the vet what shots, if any, your kitty has already had. Also, if you know where your kitty came from i.e. from a friend, surrendered to or born in a shelter or was a found stray is important information to pass on to the vet. Let the vet know what kind of food you are feeding the kitty, if there are any other cats in the household and if it is going to be an indoor or outdoor kitty. This will affect the kind of vaccinations the vet will give. Good luck!

Chances are that he's still some what blurred by the anethesia, and still feeling like he's highly intoxicated. None of his sensors are working right, and he probably can't tell his whiskers from his tail. Give him lots of rest, lots of assurance that you'll let him heal on his own time. (which basically means instead of going and rubbing him or petting him, maybe just go lay down next to him with out touching him) It'll take a few days, depending on what surgery he had.
If it is a declawing surgery, SHAME ON YOU-but some cats totally change their behaviors when it comes to declawing, and no longer provide you with the same cat you knew.
If its a nuetering surgery/spay WAY TO GO!!! Your a responsble cat owner that knows common sense. And, well the above pertains to that!!!

I think all cats react differently. I've had cats p...ed off at me for days after vet visits, some don't even seem to know they've been to the vet, and others get really affectionate with me cause they are so glad to be home. Hope your kitties one of hte ones that gets affectionate!

While I don't know why you took him there, he will not be angry with you. He will just be a bit upset with his routine, and if he had surgery or shots he'll be in a little pain. He won't remember what went on. He'll just be happy to be back in his environment, and the safety of you, and your home. Don't worry. I have two cats, and I hate taking them for their shots, etc., but they recover quite quickly, and they never take anything out on me.

Some animals seem to pout, but most are just glad to get back to a sense of normalcy in familiar territory. Be sure that the cat gets a quiet room for a while and let him come to you when he is ready. He may be aware of pain or tenderness, but he doesn't "know" in the way that you or I know. Don't let guilt color your actions toward him or about him. Just love him.

Not to worry,
He will love you just the same as before he went to the vet. Animals are much more forgiving than humans. And yes, they do have feelings. : )
They know the difference of being loved, or just left to be fed and never loved on.
You and your kitty will be just fine!

They have no idea that we only do these things to help them, and he may pout for a little while, but they always get over it. That's one of the hard parts of being a responsible pet owner, tough choices like that, but you have to do them to keep your pet healthy. But, one of the rewards is that your pets love you, and unlike humans, they won't judge you. So, don't worry if he's upset for awhile, be patient and have toys and treats ready for when he does come around. He'll be back to his normal self in no time.

He will be fine, just give him a couple of days to get to normal. A vet visit is stressful even in the best of circumstances. My kitties get upset from a vet visit, but they settle down eventually.

He will forget all about it, so dont worry. They do get mad but why stay mad at the one who feeds and loves you everyday. If he is give some space and he'll come a running for some love when ready
