There actually isn't a difference between the body of the car for the 250 or 350. Except the wheels. Anyway ,the real difference is the engine size and available features. The term IS "250" uses those numbers to show that that particular vehicle has a 2.50 liter engine. Same as the IS "350", it has a 3.50 liter engine. The IS 250 has 204 horsepower, is available in AWD, and also available with a manual transmission. The IS 350 has 306 horsepower, which is basically the only difference. It isn't, however, available with AWD or a manual transmission.

The major difference (aside from the option packages) its that the IS250 has a 2.5 liter six cylinder making 204 horsepower while the IS350 has a 3.5 liter six cylinder making 306 horsepower. The IS250 is available with a manual transmission (in base trim only) while the IS350 is only available with an automatic. Additionally, the IS250 is available in and all-wheel drive model while the IS350 is a rear-wheel drive only vehicle.

Body of the IS350 and IS350 are 100% identical. The structure, frame, dash, windows, EVERY LAST ITEM.

The only differences are the engine. One is bigger than the other.
