Look into the adult diapers - depends and the like. you might have to try several sizes.

What about GoodNites? They make pull-up style diapers for older kids. Maybe they'd have a size for a 12 year old. Just pull them on like regular underwear.

I strongly disagree with your child's doctor on this matter. Unless your child is mentally impaired or have some type of handicap, I would subject that you not humilate him by putting a diaper on him at night. Have you had his bladder checked lately. Also you could purchase a Bedwetting Alarm. He is old enough to hear it and respond to its alert without disturbing you for help. I know you must be frustrated with this issue, but give it one more try. Insist that he stop drinking ANY liquids after 6:PM and talk to him about an Alarm that can assist him in traing his mind to wakeup when he needs to urinate.

There are some BEDWETTING ALARMS listed on the web I've seen a few. Search with caution-some scammers are oot there, too.

Epinions.com may be able to give you some reviews on the device so you can make an informed decison.

God bless!

I think that would be totally humiliating for your 12 yr old. Put a plastic mattress cover on his bed and cover it with a nice sheet and a warm blanket. He cannot help his bed wetting. He will grow out of it and you will be glad you did not make a big deal out of it.

there is a great product out there there called Pull ups. there for older kids. and also try a Ciropractor it helped my brother a HUGE amount, I am sure that if you talked about this he would be able to help a HUGE amount.

are you wanting to know how to explain to him he needs to wear them? just talk to him frankly?
they make adult sized diapers in the incontenant product area. if he is really small he might be able to use 'pull up's"
if not, they make pull-up style adult sized diapers, so he can change himself, [put it in the trash, and take it out to the curb.

12? um my brother ( when he was younger) used to wet the bed so they got thing thing for him and i dont know what it was but i guess you put it somewhere around your private area and very time you were about to pee ( like a little bit of pee would come out) it would feel it and it would start to make this loud noise so you would wake up . .ha

maybe use depends or something like that. But this seems like it could be very humiliating, so about he/she should do it him/herself.
