i guess that would depend on your definition of sane. Most people have a little bit of eccentricity in them but many choose to try to be 'like the norm" as to not draw too much attention to themselves for a variety of reasons. (being shy is a popular one)
In order to be happy, which i think is the main goal of most people, being "sane" does not always fit in well. Honestly, if you think back to all teh fun thigns you've done in your life, how many of the best ones were probably not the smartest choices?
it comes down to needing perhaps a healthy mix of "sane" and a dash of "insane" to keep things fresh... after all you don't want to be freezer burnt right?

In all times and places it is the sane people who cancan put things into perspective and adjust who are least troubled by their environment. Insane people are troubled even the best of situations.

There is definitely a lot more stress when dealing with irresponsible people and a need for a lot more patience. If you don't learn patience you join the insane.

Sanity is defined by the society you live in. If the society bothers you, by definition you might be insane in society's eyes.

Depends...I say yes. I would rather be an insane person who is happy all the time and doesn't know there is something wrong, vs an angry insane person.
