Probably Revelation, John was exiled on the island of Patmos after a long ministry in Turkey (province of Asia). It is believed he was quite old at that point.
So it is quite likely that the books were written in the order we find them in the Bible: the Gospel, the 3 letters, and finally the Revelation. It doesn't need to be in that order, but historical evidence would imply that.

the recent testomony grew to become into written at around the ultimate time-physique. that may no longer the subject I truthfully have. it is the finished loss of corroborating historic records. there is in trouble-free terms Josephus who claims that Jesus lived and his paintings is customary to be tampered with. different than that, you will anticipate some scribe in Israel to checklist the 'first fruit' incident the place quite a few human beings rose from the grave and commenced telling the Jews that Jesus grew to become into the savior. An journey like which could could have been recorded via fact it would have been so extraordinary. whether it wasn't. That exhibits me that lots of the NT is exaggerated.

Revelation was written by a different "John" much later, and was written some 80 years after the time of Jesus. The person who wrote Revelation had never even met Jesus.

I believe John wrote his stuff in this order: The Gospel of John, Revelation, and then the letters of John. But... I'm not an authority. (Actually, I am a sleepy person who needs to turn off this computer! -- But John is one of my favorite authors.)
