hey guys. i need ur help.. i just met a girl thats one year younger than me. shes 16 and i am 17 in uthaic h.s. she is in my music class.. i like her becasue of her persona.. i make her laugh. just recently i found out that she has a bf for 1 years already. even though it is heartbreaking to knwo this , i feel that i have to at least try. so is there any suggestions for me to do on v-day without being to obvious. i want to play the mysterious one.. is there any chance for me to suceed. by the way, is white rose better than a red rose when giving it to someone thats in my kind of situation. thanxs for all your help

I think that it would be fine if you just wanted to give her a rose to show friendship and that you care. I made a list of different rose colors and their meanings if you want to look over it. But here's the thing, because she has a boyfriend, you really shouldn't mess with trying to get her for yourself. Just be sweet and even give her the rose, don't come on too strong. If she gets to know you as a spectacular guy and better than her boyfriend great! But, otherwise don't mess with what has worked so well for a year... longer than you've known her... just be a good friend! But even a good friend gives a girl a gift!
As far as rose color:

you are a sweet guy and i hope you'll find a nice girl who's not attached.
colour of the rose doesnt matter at all. cos she'll never know who you are right?
you have not even tried at all.... or did you? tell her how you feel... nothing is better than coming clean with your feelings. so what if she has a boyfriend? my suggestion is really get clean with your feelings and then move on with life. you are too young to get held back by anyone.

mysterious is good , but dont be too shy and don't intentionally try to break her and her boyfriend up .. just be her friend and whatever .. maybe someday some sparks will fly between the two of you
but imagine yourself being with this girl for a year, you wouldn't want some other guy trying to be with her too would you? , respect her boyfriend and her, and maybe she will see you as a good guy and fall for you, but let it happen naturally.. when your too forceful it can sometimes be flattering to girls, but almost always ends up as a turn off

Put yourself in the boyfriend's position, it's not right. There is like an unwritten rule, you don't mess with another man's girl. If you do, it will come back to you and you won't like it.
