We do not trust ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, or PBS. Those are all liberal media outlets. We sit in the hooch watching (because we have few choices on Armed Forces Television) and we ridicule the fact that their view of the war is very narrow. "if it bleeds, it leads" is their motto i guess. I just returned from a trip to Iraq and I can tell you that it is not the press that affects the morale negatively. In fact we get a laugh out of it. People like Cindy Sheehan, however are an embarrasment. If my mother were to screech and holler like her and make a hysterical a$$ of herself like that, I would be ashamed of her.

Honestly? Those of us in the military have gotten to the point where we don't really pay attention to the news, or most of the congressmen spouting off about the war. Do the men and women in Iraq want to come home? Of course they do. Does that mean they don't agree with the reason we're over there? hell no. And for an example of 'biased' media, I'll give you one: the poll that has been flouted by newspapers and television stations that the military members in Iraq are against the war, actually asked 'Do you want to go home?'. A loaded question, don't you think? Of course they want to, and no mention was made to them about it being an opinion on the war, it was just that single question, yes or no. Some of us support the war, and the reason we're in Iraq and Afghanistan, some of us don't. All of us support each other. Whether Airman, Soldier, Sailor, or Marine, we all support each other, whatever our opinion. Those few of our number who don't support us deserve the full weight of the Uniform Code of Military Justice brought to bear against them.

What got my attention is all of the anti-war people who posted what they think we think - and were 100% wrong.

Instead of wondering why the troops are pointing out that the media is giving a misleading account of the war - the liberals will come up with rationalizations why we should not be listened to and instead listen to some liberal pundit who has never gone anywhere that her BMW may get scratched thinks they should think.

Babytron0. the answer is Dan Rather and his made up story about George Bush. How about Chris Mathews, claims to be fair. Keith Olberman ring a bell? How about the NY Times? The LA Times? Cutie pie Katie Couric tosses soft balls to the libs then verbally attacks any conservative. "Nough said!

To Ed and Julie N: Thank you for your service, please don't let the left wing nuts get to you. There are many of us out here who support you AND your mission!

what sources do you have to prove your rant? but so that you know my brother AND FATHER are both serving time in iraq and their opinion is that the republicans are using them NOT to protect the people but rather to protect investments. so i'll go with my families feelings rather then your pointless rant.

by the way i reported this question. its not a question but rather a rant because you've deleted questions that don't agree with your point of view. so that means this isn't a real question. also its the pointing game.

youre no different than the people youre trying to blame.

when i was there last year, it annoyed me to watch the news. i was in public affairs, so it was my office's job to put out press releases, facilitate civilian media, and go out and do stories of my own. unfortunately, all i ever saw (and see now) is liberal crap. the simple fact that they keep talking about the 20,000 troops going to iraq is aiding the enemy. don't the dems think that the insurgents are creating a surge of their own? and now they've had plenty of time. of course it's getting worse in baghdad now.

well one thing is for certain - that the media is far easier on the republic party than the democratic party.

ever since bush got into the white house i have not seen one republic candidate or politician ever asked or answer a tough question.

bottom line - there is no liberal media - or they would be asking why no one is talking about the fact that american soldiers are dying because saudi arabia is now funding sunni insurgents who are killing american soldiers.

the republic party has had it easy, but hopefully those days are over...

What liberal media? You'd be hard pressed to find a biased liberal media considering the fact that the six largest media outlets are controlled and censored by right-wing conservatives whose multiple conglomerate interests are best suited by the Simian Boy King and his minions while you and I foot the bill for their inability to govern and the illegal fleecing of our Nation.

Please break the white-knuckle grip around you ankles and get with the majority.

How much more evidence, many more convictions, many more indictments is it gonna take before you stop defending the indefensible?

I'm sure that the Soldier in Iraq bearing witness to the results of this illegal occupation firsthand need not a left-wing media outlet to feel as disgusted with the Resident and his falsehoods--unlike your assumptions--they are intelligent.

Can you give me an example of this "aid & comfort to the enemy", an example of ANY liberal supporting the terrorists? How about any evidence that criticism of the war and of this administration in any way, hurts the morale of the troops?

Or are you just like all of the other trolls, all talk?
