What does the bible say about the end of the world?

I mean, how it will end. Not when. I know that it doesn't say when it will end, and only God knows. But what does it say about HOW it ends?

Hard question to answer! first off do you have a bible? if not buy one, they even sell them at the $1 store. Read Revelations it explains everything!!!! Here's an Example : You How Hurricane Katrina Hit Last year? It was because god was so displeased with all of the prostitution and drugs and basicaly all of the "sin" going on and tried to destroy it. I know that sounds really weird and stupid but god was so disgusted with that place he was done with it yet they continued. I find it voulgur and disgusting what they do. Anyways Fire does have something to do with "The End of the world" but that comes towards the end. Did you know that everything going on with the Earth and the Ozone Depleating and everything is not only a result of us not taking care of our earth, but the so called " Beggining of the End". See after about 10 years of what's going on right now, God will come down from heaven and take all of his believers, "Christians" up to heaven and then the 7 plagues will happen . in case your wondering what the "7 Plagues" are read about them in Revelations. I know this is alot to take in but before i go i wanted to let you know about the love of god and how whether or not you've experienced it or not but i bet you've felt all alone like no one cared about you. But i want to let you that god cares about beyond thought!!! Well we are very close to the end of a period. The conformation of the covenant is the peace treaty with Israel for 7 years that will set off the last seven years. 3 1/2 years in will be the abomination of desolation when the anti christ declares himself to be God, in the rebuilt Jewish temple. Then will come Satan Wrath or the Great Tribulation, after which comes the second coming of Jesus. Satan will be cast into the Abyss for a thousand years, and the false prophet and the antichrist will be thrown into hell. Then comes the 1000 years of peace on the Earth as Jesus and the Saints who died or were raptured out rule the world. Then Satan is released one last time, for one last war. Then comes the end of the Earth and the rest of eternity

We are also living in the last empire known as the holy roman empire which started when charlamane was crowned by Pope Leo. If you look at Daniels propehcy he told Nebuchadrezzar his dream was about a huge image made of various materials (gold, silver, brass, iron, and iron mingled with clay.) Notice Iron was Rome Empire. The Iron mingled with clay is the empire we now live in. This means that the false prophet will be the pope. The Roman Papacy says the next pope will be evil. Because they have run out of symbols, He is called The Petrus Romanus.

It says a lot of impossible things...roaches with human faces and the size or horses, skies bleeding, oceans boiling, and pretty much every horrible natural event taken to the Nth degree.

It's a common trait among End-Of-World mythologies. I've only rarely heard of a EOW tale that ends quietly. Everyone seems to want galactic special effects.

All in all, the end of the world John foresaw is quite a ride. Interestingly, it lacks a well-defined chronology: the stars are swept from the sky again and again, the antichrist and his prophet die and come to life, people are killed in vast numbers, but in a next chapter, they seem to be doing just fine...only to be killed off again in the same vast numbers.
