How do you know if your possesed?

Recently I have heard voices wispering to me, telling me to slay the world. The voices tell me that I am the greatest warrior that has ever existed, and that all human life is a curse on existance. The voice keeps mentioning Stalingrad and I am confused. How do you know if your possesed?

I don't think you're possessed. If what you say is true and you're not just a troll, you may be having a psychotic break with hallucinations. I recommend that you see a doctor.

Talk to someone who actually knows about demons and possesions....If you're a christian, you can be influenced by the demonic but you can't be possesed, however if you're not a christian you can be possesed. It's real easy tho to get rid of them.. often you just speak against them in Jesus' name and make sure that you don't agree w/ them in your heart or mind and then also if they don't leave immediately, sometimes making sure that you don't have any unforgiveness in your heart can make them leave.

I've only had a few experiences w/ the demonic but i can tell you something, if you 're a believer, you've got Jesus living in you and the demons are little weaklings when He shows up.

First, I would want to know if you have had any involvement in the occult arts.
On the other hand, the symptoms to which you are referring point to a psychosis, called by a chemical imbalance in the brain. That can be fixed with medication - it takes a while to find just the right balance. Find a psychiatrist, be patient as he works out the right balance of medication for you.
In the mean time, put your trust in God, develope your relationship with Him. He can help you to find a psychological balance. (I know religious people do not always seem balanced, but God is a God of balance and self-control. I am referring to God, and Jesus Christ, not religion here).

Dude, lol, if you were possesed you wouldn't hear anything. When some is possesed a spirit takes over the body, an evil spirit is just talking to you. Tell him/her to go to the light, trust me.

Stalingrad is a WWII battle isnt it? Maybe your channaling the soul of a soldier who died on that feild. Either that, or you are possessed by a Daemon If you have the odd ability to detect religious objects (i.e. crucifix, holy water, star of David, rosary, etc.) and are harmed by proximity to them, then you are definantly possessed. However, daemonic/Ghostly possession is rare, and more likely you are suffering from schitzophrenia. I recomend visiting both a Preist (Christian or Jewish preferable) and a therapist.

People hallucinate no one is possessed. It is rarely acceptable as a insanity defense in a court of law. So don't even think about hurting anyone and saying the devil made you do it.

The only way to know if you are possessed is if you go to church and the demon manifests itself (in you) at the church. If it does it in public, I doubt normal secular people would know what they are seeing, church people usually know what a demon possession look like. Sometimes people will come forward for prayer and a demon will mainfest itself. There are some people in mental institutes who are possessed.

I don't think possesed people know they are possesed. If you realize that your thoughts are not right then you are totally sane.
