my dog is pregnant and this is the first time i've had a pregnant dog...but i'm wondering how dogs behave when they're pregnant?
the reason i'm asking is because she's become extremely whiney. she usually does not whine, but lately she's been like that and she's only about one month along.

give her extra love and attention , stroke her belly and let her know its ok. cuddle up with her thats what we did here so when she was uncomfortable she would come for that belly rub and a snuggle.

All dogs react differently with a pregnancy. She is not quite sure what is going on with all the changes in her body. Just as long as she is eating, drinking and pottying okay, she is fine.

Maybe she's trying to tell you that something here feels different! I'd say just watch her and make sure she is eating and drinking ok. She most likely has a lot to say about how her body feels.
