I have 2 artificial front teeth that I would like to whiten. Do artificial teeth whiten in the same levels normal tooth enamel does? I would guess I'd have to have the dentist do it.. but just curious if anyone else has done this.

They can't. They aren't made out of enamel - most of them are porcelain, they are the color that you got. Normally, you bleach your teeth to your ideal color and then they make the implant. That way you're happy with the color. Especially if it's a front tooth. If it's composite they can add to it, but if it's an actual implant the answer is no. I'm sorry.

No they do not whiten - I have the same issue. I am having my teeth whitened by the dentist and replacing my artifical teeth to match the whitened ones. WHATEVER YOU DO - do not try self whitening kits, you will have very white teeth and seemingly discolored front ones.

Whitening will only bring the implants/partials to their original color.
